The Band enjoyed a smashing afternoon at Deal Memorial Bandstand this September 2nd. The weather was lovely with bright, warm sunshine and, for a change, almost no wind. There was a large, knowledgeable audience who, judging by their comments during the interval and at the end, thoroughly enjoyed the varied and entertaining programme provided by new MD David Chapman as well as the excellent standard of playing from the Band.
