The band was delighted to take part in Maidstone’s ‘Party to Remember!’ on 4th November 2018. The aim of the event was to celebrate the end of the Great War 100 years ago and featured the band along with The Maidstone Singers and Energize Community Choir.
Each group performed pieces from the era separately and also en masse, concluding with Hubert Parry’s Jerusalem and Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No.1.
As the photographs show (Credit: Chas Bedford) the indoor ‘Street Party’ was well attended by an enthusiastic audience who made the most of their opportunities to join in with the singing.
