The band have been working hard on this year’s 2nd Section test piece, Darrol Barry’s ‘The Rise of the Phoenix’, in preparation for the annual London and Southern Counties Regional contest which takes place this over coming weekend 16th and 17th March. The contest will be held in Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre and the band have been drawn to play in the second half of our section which competes on Sunday. We will be performing at an as yet unknown time during the afternoon – more news later
