The Great Lines Heritage Park was the venue for this year’s Armed Forces day Celebrations. The weather often springs surprises at this event and this year was no exception. Performing two 40 minute sets with no shade on the hottest day of the year presented a particular challenge which the day rose to admirably. Featuring film music, marches, 4 soloists and original brass band pieces the well received programme reflected the theme of the day.
