Rosemary started playing the piano at the age of 5 and some years later while attending Dr Challoner’s High School in Buckinghamshire she took up the oboe.
Rosemary went on to study oboe and piano in London and after graduating she attended teacher training college and has been teaching music since then.
It was only after she met Keith, the musical director of the BAE SYSTEMS Band, that she became interested in the sound of a pure brass ensemble and very soon joined the percussion section of the band and mainly plays the tuned percussion instruments.
